The daily slog, and pure pleasure

I have been spinning and working on perseverance. I have spun a total of 2500 plus yards of the black yarn I was spinning in the post below. For fun I moved on to the next wool that is also being spun for weaving yarn, a Corriedale. I spun at this daily and filled two bobbins and plied. The result is the longest skein I have ever spun, 1200 plus two ply. Here it is fresh of the niddy.
After this I took a detour into some tussah silk. One of the 9 bags of 2 ounce silks in greens. I loved every second of spinning and plying this. It was pure joy
Color:
and finished skein at more than 300 yards of two ply
