Spinning My wheels

I have been working on a fiber project I cannot yet talk about, and in the spare time I have been spinning local CVM, which I will be using for weaving. It is fine spinning, and so I feel like I spin and spin and the bobbin never fills. I know, intellectually, that I am spinning a lot of yarn but in my gut it feels like the yarn is going into some black hole, and never filling the bobbin. There are the times when one need to persevere.
